The Swiss Cancer Research foundation promotes talent. It awards international research fellowships to motivated and talented early-career clinicians, enabling the opportunity to gain research experience abroad, receive training and for further education.
As a prospective scientist with an excellent track record, you have the opportunity to apply for a fellowship at one of our two submission rounds. The GAP (Grant Application Portal) offers step-by-step guidance on submitting an application and provides information on the conditions for submission. Only applications submitted online via the portal will be considered.
Funding scheme at a glance
- Online application submission by way of the Grant Application Portal
- Submission deadlines: twice a year - 31 January and 31 July 12:00 noon (Central European Time)
- The applicant must be clinically qualified in medical oncology. Researchers with a pure basic research focus are excluded from this programm
- Fellowships are awarded for a maximum period of two years
- Two support letters and proof of sponsorship from an eligible host organization are required
